Photos and graphics in your campaigns can make them shine, but finding good quality images can be tough. That’s why we’re excited to let you know that we’ve integrated with the free stock photography website Pexels to make finding and adding high-quality images faster and easier.
About Pexels
Pexels is a free stock photography website that offers website users the opportunity to use photos and videos that have been shared by creators. There are millions of photos to choose from and you’ll be able to use them all. You could even brand the images you find on Pexels with our Canva integration tool to really add your own personal touch.
Why use Pexels?
Although it’s always great to be able to have your own footage created for you, the reality is that most marketers don’t have the budget or time to set up photoshoots and get photos shot for everything they need. Hence why stock photography is so popular. Stock photography offers you the opportunity to tap into a vast array of photos spanning any topic, product, colour, business, etc you can think of. This helps you save a lot of time and money long term as these photos are free to use.
Mail Blaze has integrated with Pexels at no additional cost to you. That’s right, more added value - none of the extra cost. Now you can spend more time focussing on enhancing your campaign performance.
How do you access the Pexels image Library within Mail Blaze?
Step 1:
Login to your account and create a new template
Once you’re in your Mail Blaze account you’ll select your template. To illustrate, we used one of our preset templates as a base as shown below. Select your image or drag in an image content block where you choose. Now you’ll open the Mail Blaze File Manager.
Step 2:
Go to your File Manager
Once you are in your File Manager you’ll see a dark green button named SEARCH PEXELS. Select this button now.
Step 3:
Search and select your image
Once you’ve selected Pexels you’ll see you are in the Pexels image library. You can now use the search bar to search for a specific image using keywords.
To show you how easy it is to search, we decided to search for ember and the following images popped up.
Once you’ve picked an image (or hovered over the image you want) you can just select USE and the image will be added to your File Manager.
Now all you need to do is select the image out of your File Manager and it will be added to your template.
Step 4:
Finish building your email campaign.
It’s as simple as that.
You’ve got access to millions of images, all within the same window. No need to keep multiple tabs open while creating your campaigns. Your image is now stored in your Mail Blaze File Library, which means you can always go back and use it again without going through the search process again.
