What does the Mail Blaze subscriber score entail?
The Mail Blaze subscriber score uses a 1-5 rating scale to qualify the engagement levels of a subscriber. Essentially opens and click behaviours are utilised to create the score at subscriber level and is done as per below:
Score 0: Subscriber has no opens
Score 1: Subscriber has opens
Score 2: Subscriber has opens in the last 2 months
Score 3: Subscriber has clicks in the last 2 months
Score 4: Subscriber has more than 2 clicks in the last 2 months
Score 5: Subscriber has more than 4 clicks in the last 2 months
How does pixel tracking work?
An email tracking pixel is a 1px by 1px square image created by a line of code inserted into an email campaign. This is done automatically by the platform to ensure we can facilitate reporting. It’s not evident to the recipient that email tracking pixels are present because they are so small that your audience won’t notice them.
Where does location tracking come from that is shown in the campaign reports?
We use a subscriber’s IP to determine the city the subscriber comes from, therefore if their IP address is set to a different location than what they are in, the platform can only utilise the data it receives.
